We are on a mission to get women talking!
After studying fine arts—not finance—our founder had to find her way (read: the hard way) financially. But she’s not going to let it happen to other women. Imagine a world where we all purchased investment properties at the tender age of 20. Where we knew to buy a bit-load of bitcoin when it was cheaper than a gelato on James St. And where we didn’t have to listen to a man without shoes mansplain to us how to bloody budget. When our sisters, girlfriends and mums talk, we listen. So let’s start mouthing off like men do about money. Let’s get colourful about our hard-earned cash.
So we can all pucker up and kiss money hello.
What is ‘The Lipstick Effect’:
The lipstick effect is the theory that when facing an economic crisis, consumers will be more willing to buy less costly items. Instead of buying expensive purses and fancy frocks, for example, people will buy expensive cosmetics, such as LIPSTICKS!
